Daniel J. Mol’s clients are well served by his ability to get to the heart of an issue, his flair for argument, and talent in cross-examination. Mr. Mol’s general practice experience allows him to quickly put facts and legal issues in their proper context.

Mr. Mol has successfully defended high profile criminal cases and complex personal injury claims. He has also acted successfully in the litigation of cases relating to contracts, wills and estates, family law (including divorce and acting for parents in child protection cases) and real estate. Mr. Mol practices regularly in the superior courts of Alberta and British Columbia. He has acted in Manitoba’s superior trial court and appeared once, as counsel, before the Supreme Court of Canada.

Prior to commencing full time legal practice in 2005, Mr. Mol earned degrees in history (B.A. with distinction, Augustana University College, 2001), international politics (M.Sc.Econ., University of Wales, Aberystwyth, 2003) and law (LL.B. (now J.D.), University of Alberta Faculty of Law, 2005). A member of the Law Societies of Alberta (2006) and British Columbia (2021), Mr. Mol occasionally writes and speaks on issues of legal practice and theory.


Mr. Mol and staff are available to assist with general practice matters including real estate purchase/mortgage and sale, probate / administration of estates, wills, debt collection matters and family law. Mr. Mol is available for appointments by telephone or in person in Edmonton, Vegreville, Victoria, Vancouver and points in between.
